Input history shows underline added by keyboard

Steps

1. Connect to core, open a buffer
2. Type a word
3. With text cursor on the word so the input widget shows the underline, send message
4. Observe message sent
5. Open input history

Expected

Both message sent and input history do not show the automatically added underline.

Actual

Message sent does not contain the underline. Input history shows the auto-added underline.

Additional

The underline is merely cosmetic. Selecting the message from the input history will not include the auto-added underline if sent.

Tested with AOSP keyboard from LineageOS 14.1 on a Nexus 6.
