Buffer list fast scoller abruptly cuts off long network names

Steps

  1. Rename a network to have a longer name, e.g. appending this is a very long network name
  2. Scroll the buffer list with the fast scroller to this network
  3. Observe the display of names

Outcome

The fast scroller abruptly cuts off the beginning, extending beyond the screen, resulting in seeing only the last letters of the network.

Suggestions

I'm not sure what would be the best option, but a few ideas come to mind:

  • Prioritize the start of a network name
    • List is sorted by first letter, not last
  • Fade out/ellipsis the cut-off text
