Scroll to beginning of conversation results in endless loading spinner

1. Connect and load
2. Open conversation with not very many messages
3. Scroll to beginning

• Seems to happen more often with a conversation that's not already been loaded
• May need to pull to refresh to trigger issue

Expected

Loading spinner hides after detecting there's no more messages.

Actual

Loading spinner stays on screen until selecting another buffer.
